Clay Thompson | Arizona Republic Columnist You're making fun of me, right? By CLAY THOMPSON Thu, Nov 29 2012 4:37 PM Today's question: A group of us women were talking about this and we decided to ask you: Who was taller - Napoleon Bonaparte or Adolf Hitler? You make the joke, yes, no? You think because poor Clay is a poor boy who does not know your ways so good or speak your language so good that you can make fun of him by asking him any dumb-ass, lame-o question you can come up with? That is cruel in a way, don't you think? Is this the way of you people? I am confused, since it is not the way of my people, even if we do not know your strange ways or speak your language so good or wear such nice clothes as you people wear. However, since people like me need to hang on to whatever work we can get, here is your answer: Depending on whatever source you ask, Napoleon was either about 5-foot-2 or maybe 5-foot-6. Hitler seems to have been around 5-foot-9, again depending on who you ask. Or whom you ask. As I said, your language is difficult for me. We would like to put a hummingbird feeder in the front of our house so we can watch them from our kitchen. Our flowers are in the back, none in the front. Will they find the feeder? You're new here, aren't you? No matter what other readers have told you, you can trust me on this one: If you put up a feeder the hummingbirds will find it. Maybe not within the hour, but pretty quick. So will the bees, house finches and if you're lucky maybe orioles. The recipe is one part of sugar boiled into four parts of water.
